Title
A fundraising tour of Black Adventist Churches
Description

With an endorsement from Charles Dudley, South Central Conference President at the time, ministers Earl Moore, and Charles Joseph went on a fundraising tour of Black Adventist Churches. The duo was able to raise $38,000, which they used to purchase a van and medical supplies to carry out the mission they had been given. They purchased a 1968 dodge travaco motorhome (powered by the Chrysler 318 CID 200 horsepower V-8 engine). Staffed by volunteer medical professionals, the motorhome went to the communities where its services were needed the most. The Black community was overlooked, forgotten, mistreated, and oppressed by the state and local governments that abused them the most!
